Community Housing

Lake Country AHEC working with various community partners recruits donated housing for students as appropriate. 

With student placement in communities located an hour or further away from the school of attendances, often housing is needed within the community to accommodate student rotations.

LCAHEC works with local groups to attempt to locate and identify low cost/donated housing for these future healthcare professionals. 

 

Housing can consist of a room in someone’s home, dorm room in the local junior college, etc.  Housing guidelines have been established by East Texas AHEC program office.
